FACTS ABOUT ME:

1.  The youngest child from three beautiful daughters of my parents

2. I live in Kuala Lumpur.

3. Spent my free time sitting at home, surfing internet, reading, watching television and sleeping. (It had become my hobby, naturally).

4. Began my early education at the age of 6 in kindergarten for a year.

Since I was born until now, my home has never been far from Gombak. Gombak is basically my hometown since I was born. In Gombak, I went to the kindergarten and all my schools located in Gombak until I was in form 3. After PMR, I continued my studies in boarding school in Kuala Lipis, Pahang.  I attended school there until I was 17 years old which is where I took my examination (SPM). At the school, I met many wonderful friends.

After my examination (SPM) finished, I continued my studies in STPM level in a school in Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur. During my STPM, I learned many things that have changed me to be more mature and independent. With great supports from my family and teachers, I managed to get good results,thus, it put me in a law school here, in Sintok, Kedah. It's become difficult for me to meet my friends because of the distance become further. 

However, I am really happy to meet lots of new friends here. 

Since 2013 is going to an end, I would like to share with you guys my happy moments for this year.

BONUSES

This is our second individual assignment whereas we have to manage to secure an accounting related position at Sintok MegaMall. We are given the task with following question:

Assume that you manage to secure an accounting related position at Sintok MegaMall. This company has 11 staff in various positions. The company decides to give bonuses to all employees and you are responsible to create a spreadsheet to show the amount of bonuses that will be received by everybody. The bonus amount will be based on the following categories.

Category 1 - (Those who pay is RM1000 and below will get total bonus of  RM2,000.00 + 75% of their base salary)

Category 2 - (Those who pay is RM1001 – RM5000 will get total bonus of  RM2,000.00 + 50% of their base salary)

Category 3 - (Those who pay is RM5001 and above will get total bonus of  RM2,000.00 + 25% of their base salary)

The Differences between Information Technology and Information System

Information technology and information systems are two closely related fields of study that people find very confusing to differentiate between. 

Definition of Information Technology:

Wikipedia -  the application of computers and telecommunications equipment to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data, often in the context of a business or other enterprise- It is also can be defined as a term that encompasses all forms of technology used to create, store, exchange, and use information in its various forms (business data, voice conversations, still images, motion pictures, multimedia presentations, and other forms, including those not yet conceived). It's a convenient term for including both telephony and computer technology in the same word. It is the technology that is driving what has often been called "the information revolution.

Definition of Information System:

Wikipedia - the study of complementary networks of hardware and software that people and organizations use to collect, filter, process, create, and distribute data.

People always misinterpreted between Information Technology and Information System. This is because of overlapping of topics in courses that are designed to teach these subjects. Despite all the similarities there are differences that need to be highlighted to enable students to choose one of the two as a career option depending upon suitability.

It seems that in this modern age of computers and internet, information technology has become more popular as there are more job openings for information technology. One reason why people confuse between information systems and information technology is that they presume systems to be computer systems. However, ‘information systems’ is rather large field of study that refers to systems that are designed to create, modify, store and distribute information. It is really surprising but information systems as a field of study has been around much before computers arrived on the scene.

Information technology can be considered as a subset of information systems. It deals with the technology part of any information system, and as such deals with hardware, servers, operating systems and software etc.

A system is always a combination of people, machines, processes and technology. And IT is just a part of the system. Since a part can never be identical to whole, information systems is never going to be identical to information technology. Designing of a system takes much more than technology as people and processes are also involved.

‘Information systems’ is in essence bridging the gap between business and the ever growing field of computers. On the other hand, information technology is all about managing technology and making use of it for the betterment of business.

In brief:

• Information systems and information technology are parts of a broader computer science.

• Whereas information systems focuses on the system making use of technology, information technology focuses on technology and how it can help in disseminating information.

• However, Information technology and information systems are not necessarily two fields of study, even though, there can be fields of studies on these terms.
